HireGuild

Terms of Service

These terms describe how HireGuild works for Workers and Clients.

1. Who this agreement covers

HireGuild is a managed remote workforce platform, not a job board or a simple marketplace. This agreement is between HireGuild (the platform), Workers (individuals placed through the platform), and Clients (companies that request talent).

HireGuild recruits, vets, and assigns Workers to Clients. Clients pay HireGuild, and HireGuild pays Workers. Clients never pay Workers directly. HireGuild manages the relationship from a Client's talent request through recruitment, placement, payroll, and ongoing support.

2. Eligibility

Worker eligibility is currently limited to Tier 1 countries: North America (the United States and Canada), the United Kingdom and Ireland, Western and Northern Europe (including Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the Nordics), and Australia and New Zealand.

Client accounts require admin approval before a Client can submit a Talent Request. Until approved, a Client account cannot request placements.

3. Accounts

You may maintain one HireGuild account per person. You agree to provide accurate information, including profile and resume details, and to keep it up to date.

Client accounts may be pending approval, active, or suspended, depending on admin review. HireGuild may review account activity and take action on an account consistent with how the platform operates, as described elsewhere in this agreement.

4. Payments and withdrawals

Clients pay HireGuild for placed Workers' time or deliverables. Once a Client's payment is confirmed, payroll for the related work is processed and made available to the Worker.

Workers may request a withdrawal once their available balance meets the platform's minimum withdrawal threshold and they have a verified payment method on file. This threshold is set by HireGuild and may change from time to time; it is not fixed in this document.

5. Referral program

Workers may refer other prospective workers to HireGuild. A referral reward is paid only after the referred worker is hired and completes the applicable probation period or minimum-hours threshold set by HireGuild.

Self-referrals are not eligible. Only the first referral credited for a given referred worker is eligible for a reward. The reward amount is an amount set by HireGuild and disclosed to you at the time of the referral.

6. Equipment

Where a role requires equipment, HireGuild coordinates sourcing and shipping through an external freight service. Workers indicate what equipment they already have versus what they need during onboarding, and HireGuild tracks the shipment through delivery.

7. Account termination

Workers with an active assignment or a pending payment, and Clients with an active assignment, cannot delete their account directly. Instead, you may request account closure, which HireGuild admin reviews once all outstanding obligations are resolved.

8. Limitation of liability, disclaimers, and changes to these terms

HireGuild provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted, HireGuild disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

HireGuild may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
